This qualification reflects the role of community service workers who design and deliver person-centred services to individuals and/or groups. Workers may provide support, advocacy or interventions to individual clients, groups or communities across a range of services.

This qualification is only available to businesses or organisations who are enrolling students to provide new skills or up-skilling within the Community Services industry.

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements prescribed for this qualification, however all candidates will undertake a Language, literacy and numeracy support evaluation and a review of their previous training and work history as part of their enrollment into the program.

This qualification is only available to businesses or organisations who are enrolling students to provide new skills or up-skilling within the Community Services industry.

The packaging rules for this qualification consist of 7 core (mandatory) units and 8 of the following elective units. You must be assessed as competent in all 15 units to attain this qualification.
