Employability Skills Training (EST)
Development for those new to the world of work
Employability Skills Training (EST) is a component of the Youth Jobs Path initiative, which is designed to support young people aged 15 – 24 into jobs.
EST prepares young people for what they can expect when they enter the workforce and covers the entry-level skills to get participants job ready.

Entry requirements
Must be aged 15 – 24 years and referred by a jobactive provider.

- Employability profile
- Work place visits
- Employer interactions
- Job shadowing
Job Search Skills
- Resume & cover letter writing
- Addressing selection criteria
- Job search methods
- Interview techniques
- Work experience (20hrs)
Fully funded by the Australian Government for participants aged 15 – 24 years and referred by a jobactive provider.
Participants will develop essential pre-employment skills needed to assist in securing work in a range of industries.
On successful completion of Block 1 and Block 2, they will receive a Statement of Attainment for:

FSKLRG11: Routine Strategies for Work-Related Learning
