Participants will obtain the basic safety information and procedures for the construction industry. A white card is required for many labouring and construction related roles.
This qualification provides an introduction to the construction industry, its culture, role types and workplace expectations. Participants learn essential work health and safety requirements, communication skills, work planning, and basic use of tools and materials.
This qualification provides a pathway to the primary trades in the construction industry, excluding plumbing. Trade outcomes are predominantly achieved through an Australian Apprenticeship and this course develops the skills suited to occupations, such as joinery and shop-fitting as well as carpentry, bricklaying and general construction.
This course enables participants to become trade-qualified carpenters with the ability to work in both residential and commercial fields.
