AMANDA SOPHIOS – National RTO Manager
Amanda leads the Training Connections Australia team and has overall responsibility for operations. She has more than 19 years’ experience in leadership roles within the training industry and is passionate about working with communities, individuals and businesses to support their education and development needs. Amanda believes that learning is lifelong and applies this philosophy to the TCA business.
HELEN MATHEWS – Learning and Development Manager
Helen manages all Training Connections Australia contracts and compliance. She has more than 15 years’ experience working within Registered Training Organisation (RTO) compliance and loves working in the world of compliance, policies and legislation. Helen is focused on ensuring TCA delivers training to the highest national standards for the benefit of the students and employer.
JANET McINTYRE – NEIS Program Manager
Janet McIntyre is the NEIS Program Manager, having recent experience from her previous role as a Quality Improvement Advisor with My Pathway. As the NEIS Program Manager, Janet is responsible for ensuring the program is run in accordance with the jobactive Performance Framework and Guidelines and that compliance is achieved and maintained.
Janet has an extensive history in operational and staff management and aims to increase the footprint of NEIS through developing and marketing the program to reach a wider audience, and helping individuals achieve their dream of commencing into their own business.
Dale Jackley – Project Coordinator
Dale Jackley is the Project Coordinator for Training Connections Australia (TCA) and is responsible for driving growth through building relationships with referral agencies, host employers and other stakeholders whilst developing greater enrolment numbers across the TCA scope. He has extensive Business Development experience and is a small business operator which makes him a valuable addition to the TCA team. Dale believes firmly in helping people grow and directing them into a positive career direction.
JILL FEELEY – Training Coordinator
Jill coordinates all training programs and trainers for courses delivered by Training Connections Australia (TCA). Prior to joining TCA, she held various business trainer roles. Jill is a key member of the TCA team ensuring that clients can access the latest training options and industry experience.
DONNA FLANAGAN – Compliance Support Officer
Donna Flanagan is responsible for Training Connections Australia’s (TCA) compliance data including all reporting. Donna commenced with My Pathway in November 2010 and started with TCA in September 2013. Donna enjoys working with our trainers to ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with the organisation’s requirements. Her nickname is the smiling assassin.
CHRISTINA KELLY – Individual Support Trainer
Christina is a training specialist in aged care, disability services and community home care. Christina has over 21 years experience as an enrolled nurse, with extensive experience caring and supporting elderly and disabled patients. Christina has practiced in both Australia and the UK and is passionate about helping others to learn and develop their skills in aged care and disability services to foster and grow these industries.
MARLENE BARRATT – Curriculum Developer
Marlene has worked in the training industry for more than 25 years, in nationally reaching roles. She is a qualified Vocational Education and Training (VET) professional who supports individuals through curriculum development and as a facilitator. Marlene’s depth of experience and focus on workplace and client outcomes is an asset to TCA. She has helped many clients to gain the skills required to build their career.
WARREN CANENDO – On Country Specialist
Warren Canendo is Training Connection Australia’s On Country specialist in horticulture, conservation and language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) support. Warren has over 13 years’ experience working within the horticulture and conservation industries, specialising in regions throughout remote Queensland.
BRIAN MOORE – Construction and Carpentry Trainer
Training Connections Australia would like to introduce Brian Moore as our training specialist in Construction and Carpentry. Brian has over 17 years’ experience within the Building and Construction industry in Carpentry, Framework, formwork and finishing. Brian delivers Certificate I in Construction, Certificate II in Construction Pathways and Certificate III in Carpentry to Apprentices and participants in remote locations including Communities in Cape York, Gulf of Carpentaria, Thursday Island and Torres Strait Islands and locally in Cairns.
JORDAN WILSON – NEIS Administration Support Officer
Jordan Wilson has been employed with TCA for 4 years providing administrative and technical support to the NEIS team while also assisting Job Active Providers with referrals to the program. Jordan is an integral member of the team who is usually behind the scene making sure processes are followed for the NEIS program.
BROOKE DONNAN – Business Administration Trainee
Brooke Donnan commenced with Training Connections Australia (TCA) in April 2018 as a business trainee. Her role involves supporting the TCA team with all administration and reception duties.
PAMELA FARLEY – NEIS Administration Assistant
Pamela Farley commenced with Training Connections Australia (TCA) as an administration assistant in December 2018. Her role is to work with the team supporting administration and the NEIS Program. Pam provides support to people interested in NEIS with their enquiries, applications and processing their business plans. She also liaises with Job Providers and other agencies to promote the NEIS program and provide them with up-to-date information.
ROBYN ROEBIG – Front Office Reception
Robyn Roebig commenced with Training Connections Australia (TCA) in June 2018. Her role supports the TCA team with all administrative and reception duties, providing clients and customers with a warm and welcoming reception.
