Brian is a training specialist in construction and carpentry. He has over 17 years’ experience within the building and construction industry focusing on carpentry, framework, formwork and finishing’s.
Brian delivers Certificate I in Construction, Certificate II in Construction Pathways and Certificate III in Carpentry to Apprentices and participants in remote locations (e.g Cape York, Gulf of Carpentaria, Thursday Island and Torres Strait islands) and locally in Cairns.

She has over 10 years’ experience as small business owner and for the past 14 years has been working with entrepreneurs to start their own business and mentoring existing business owners. Carole’s strengths include business management, marketing and networking to assist in building business sustainability and capacity.
Nancy is a training specialist in new small business and micro business operations. She has over six years’ experience in mentoring and advising Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business owners and corporations to build capacity and implement systems and process improvements. This has included business and staff performance, human resources, finance, risk management and quality. Nancy aspires to help individuals and businesses make positive life changes by sharing her extensive experience in enterprise development. She is passionate about supporting people to realise their business dreams through strategic planning, mentoring and establishing social enterprises.
Natasha is a training specialist in new small business and micro business operations. She has over 12 years’ experience in supporting and mentoring business owners to build capacity in their business including staff performance, finance, risk management and quality. Natasha is passionate about supporting and advising people who are interested in starting their own business.
Employability skills trainer
Wayne has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and now shares his experiences as an employer and employee with school leavers and mature-aged, long-term unemployed. Wayne has owned and operated a 21-room, award-winning hotel in Cairns, which catered to a niche market. His responsibilities included recruitment, training and management of staff as well as overseeing the day-to-day front office, reservations, food and beverage operations, housekeeping, work health and safety and asset management.
Work health and safety trainer
Nicholas is a training specialist in work health and safety. He has over seven years’ experience in advising businesses on their safety obligations. He is currently the Work Health and Safety Manager for the My Pathway group of companies, which operate nationally. Nicholas’ experience extends across a broad range of industries including employment, health care, psychological services, child care, ship restoration, agriculture, indigenous affairs, construction, mining, labour hire, cleaning and transport. He has developed an understanding of various State and Territory safety legislation and has experience with Government contract obligations.

Phoebe is a training specialist in both hospitality and retail. She has over 30 years’ experience within the hospitality industry, with extensive experience in asset maintenance, food and beverage and VIP care. Phoebe’s roles have included Restaurant Owner/Operator, Resort Manager, Food and Beverage Executive Assistant, VIP Coordinator and Cabaret Manager. She also has experience in retail, providing front counter customer service for small businesses.
Individual support trainer
Christina is a training specialist in aged care, disability services and community care. She has over 21 years’ experience as an enrolled nurse, with extensive experience caring and supporting elderly and disabled patients. Christina has practiced in both Australia and the UK. She is passionate about helping others to learn and develop their skills in aged care and disability services to foster and grow these industries.
