After helping more than 400 Townsville, 200 Mackay and 60 Darwin and Alice Springs businesses launch since 2011, trainer and mentor Natasha Brown has won the national Tim Cremean Unsung Hero Award. The award and trophy were presented to Natasha at the recent NEIS Association (NNA) and BizCover Awards and Forum in Sydney.

TCA Business Mentor, Natasha Brown, said most of her clients were looking to be transformed and that process was both challenging and rewarding.
“The NEIS program has the ability to change people’s lives. It can be incredibly transformative when entrepreneurs are open to new ideas and suggestions,” she said.
“My focus is always how we can add value to a person’s journey and help them to navigate the rollercoaster that is building a business.”
Natasha added that winning the Unsung Hero Award was a tribute to her clients and support team.
“After seven years in this industry, receiving this recognition drives me to continue supporting my clients to find their courage. The award reflects the incredible TCA team I’ve surrounded myself with who really help me keep the show on the road,” she said.
“Every business starting out needs a person in their corner and I am honoured to be that person. My role is help people reach their potential, developing their skills and preparing them to operate outside their comfort zone.”
